Refugee Sponsorship

East End United's Refugee Sponsorship effort has brought individuals and families to Canada from Syria, Ethiopia, and the Congo. As of 2022, we have settled 24 refugees. Raising money is a big part of out program, but we also offer support such as completing important paperwork, finding housing, employment resources, transportation, language and translation support etc. 

Our sponsorship efforts are in partnership with two Sponsorship Agreement Holders: the Anglican United Refugee Alliance (AURA)and the Refugee Desk of the United Church of Canada.
