The Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with the Divine and all creation – flora, fauna, sea, sky and earth!
During the Season of Creation, we join our siblings in prayer and action for our common home. This year we’re celebrating alongside the music of Paul Simon — weekly anthems leading towards our Thanksgiving Service on October 11.
Highlights include our Blessing of the Animals (October 4 & 8) and a Square Dance supporting Danforth Grow Hope (October 16).
But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you.
Job 12:7-8
Love to sing? Our repertoire blurs sacred and secular.
No long-term commitment required. Drop in for the Season of Creation and try out some Paul Simon songs!
Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at the East End Food Hub.
All voices are welcome! Reach out to our Music Director, Stephan Ermel.
On Sundays at the Danforth Multifaith Commons, nourish your soul with our "traditional" service (sermon & choir).
Children up to Grade 6 head to Church School. We share big Bible stories, ask questions, and practice love and service in real life.
Our Youth Group is for young people Grade 7 and up. It is a time to explore, in an ever deepening way, what it means to live a life of faith in a confusing, often unkind world.
Prefer something a little different? Try The Spark on Thursday nights at the East End Food Hub. This is a short service with soup and bread, gathered around the table.
Both services are led by our minister, Rev. Bri-anne Swan.
