Dungeons & Dragons - Starts Oct. 18th - Ages 8-16

Calling all young adventurers! Join us for Dungeons & Dragons at East End United Regional Ministry!  Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, everyone aged 8-16 is welcome to explore mythical lands, defeat dragons, and make new friends.
​📅 When: Monday's 5 - 7 pm
📍Where:    Glen Rhodes Campus, 1470 Gerrard St. E

Who: Youth aged 8-16

Sunday FunDay - Sunday's -Youth Grades 6 to 12

​The program will take place in the gymnasium and kitchen at the Eastminster Campus of East End. 
There will be sports, crafts, cooking and the opportunity to meet new friends and join in fun activities.
​Everyone who is in grade 6 to 12 is welcome.

Holy Happy Hour - Starts Sept. 24

An informal time to gather and socialize with conversation (hopefully!) centred around a spiritual theme. Leaning into the Season of Creation, September's Holy Happy Hour theme is, "God as Mother Earth." What does that mean? Come discuss over a beverage (alcoholic or non) at Occasions Restaurant & Pub, located just down the street from the Glen Rhodes campus.

East End on Two Wheels-  MAY 2nd until the fall

East End on Two Wheels East End is a cycling group composed of cycling lovers who crave fresh air, want to keep in shape by biking and enjoy making friendships with people from our church and wider community. The group goes cycling on various scenic trails around the city every Thursday morning (rain date Friday). We typically have 8 – 12 cyclists on our outings and trips are chosen where the elevation climbs are minimal.

We Won't Grieve Alone:  
​First Session Sept. 23       6:30 -8:00p.m

This is a multi session series where all who want to learn more about grief, reflect with others who are open to learning and be in a supportive space. 
 
Each of the hour and a half sessions (all on Zoom) will have some learning/education and more time together to talk about the topics and your grief. 
 
This space has many resources for everyone who is experiencing some kind of grief in their lives.  And you don’t even need to join the group to access them but we would love to have you… 
​
A virtual support group for those who are grieving losses (not just death and not just recent). 
Available for NUUC, DJC and EEURM members.

Bible Study:  Tuesday's 8:30 a.m
"A Safe Question-friendly Exploration of Scripture and Faith"

A casual and thoughtful exploration of the week's scripture readings.  It helps shape the liturgy and reflection on Sunday.  Tuesdays at 9am on Zoom.
  • Explore the readings for the following week's worship service. 
  • Hear reflections--sometimes deep, sometimes light-hearted--from fellow participants. 
  • Meet old friends and make new ones.
  • Questions & doubts welcome.
  • No previous study of the bible required.
Come a few minutes early for chat if you can. Our "hour" stretches to about 10:10 most weeks, but the commitment is only till 10 o'clock.

Tending Our Souls:  Thursday Mornings

We gather between 8:10- 8:25 AM, Music at 8:25 AM to set our tone. Our group runs between 8:30-9:30 AM. We will be invited into times of prayerful imagination, spiritual reflection and connection. Together we will explore Scripture and Spirituality through Guided Meditation, Lectio Divina, Visio Divina, and other Spiritual Practices. Please bring a pen and journal to facilitate your own practice. For the next while, we are following  practices based on Honest to God Prayer by Kent Ira Groff. 

Our group is offered to women, women identifying individuals, non-binary and gender non-conforming people.
